In order to further study and implement Xi Jinping's thought of ecological civilization, implement the comprehensive conservation strategy, spread the concept of green development, and give full play to the exemplary and leading role of public institutions in the green and low-carbon development of the whole society, according to the work arrangements of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on carrying out the National Energy Saving publicity week and the National low-carbon Day, a series of publicity activities on energy conservation and carbon reduction in public institutions are scheduled to be held in mid-May 2024.

The 2024 National Energy Conservation Promotion Week will be held from May 13 to 19, with the theme of "Green Transformation, Energy Conservation". The National Low Carbon Day is May 15, with the theme of "Green Low Carbon, Beautiful China".
